Locations and General Services
The aerial NETWORK attended and maintained by Itelazpi exceeds 200 centres distributed geographically in the provinces of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa.
These are classified according to importance in 4 categories: C1, C2 C3 and C4, the C1s the most important. This distribution is made mainly based on population they cover and provide service for, at SDH Transport signal level which organises the centres and categorisation of services housed within the centre.
At infrastructure level there are different levels to highlight, the most important being:
- Centre/ relay sub-station where equipment is housed
- Aerial tower
- Service electrical systems: Electricity Lines, Transformation Centres, Generator Units, Electrical Panels, protections, etc.
- Protection Systems: Earth Lines, Dischargers, Lightning Inhibiting Systems, etc.
- Access paths and runways to centres given their usual location on mountain peaks
- Fencing
- Security Systems: CCTV Cameras, Intruder Control Systems, Fire Extinguishing Systems
- Access Control: Security Keys and Access Management Program.
- Security and Prevention Systems: Signs
- Environment Protection: Cleaning, Access regulations and vigilance of dangerous areas, enclosed areas with restricted access, etc.
