People are a basic, essential element of the organisation. Guaranteeing the health and well being of people and putting preventive mechanisms in place, is a binding obligation on the company, which must act, without sparing resources, developing efficient policies against occupational risks.
ITELAZPI believes that the strategic, fundamental value of this area affects not only the staff in the organisation, but also all other people who act in our business area: subcontractors, suppliers, tenants, etc, among whom we work hard to disseminate this, seeking to share our company"s commitment.
ITELAZPI is firmly committed to the efficient occupational risk prevention in its management system. In this context, the Management is responsible for implementing the Prevention Policy, a commitment which covers everyone in the organisation, as well as its processes, who will work actively for its materialisation and for the diffusion of the values it entails, all within their direct areas of influence.
The people integrated in our organisation have all the information relating to the hazards to which they are exposed, receive precise training and the means they need to act against them and to safely carry out their functions. The organisations that act in our facilities also have the necessary information about hazards and measures to adopt in each case, so that they carry out their tasks in a safe environment.
The management strengthens the participation of other people in the organisation in all questions affecting occupational health and safety, opening the management process for these aspects to general participation.
The organisation"s commitment in this area is not limited to compliance with legal obligations, but goes further, seeking excellence in management, in accordance with quality policies, supporting this commitment to continuous improvement.
The recognition obtained by the organisation by obtaining OHSAS 18001:2007 certification obliges us to keep this updated at all times and to adapt our management model to the demands of said standard
